Who’s behind this thing?

We’re 3 published artists who are passionate about sharing what we’ve learned!

Ilana Griffo is a lettering artist and author in upstate New York. After becoming an adjunct professor, she became passionate about helping others pursue their creative passion, which inspired her first book, Mind Your Business. Since then, she has also published a vision board kit and is one half of the team behind Goodtype, a resource for artists who mean business.

Katie Johnson is a lettering artist, educator, and author from Austin, Texas. She’s also the founder of The Monster Project, an initiative that teaches kids the power of their imaginations, for which she has self-published four books. Katie works with Ilana to run Goodtype.

Peggy Dean is an artist-turned-best-selling author with her 7th book currently in production. Over the last 5 years, alongside running The Pigeon Letters, she’s navigated self publishing, working with literary agents, and working directly with publishers. More than anything, she loves sharing industry secrets and knowledge to help people see a more direct route to reach their goals.
